katies71's Journal, 29 March 2019

So...clearly I'm not quite back to where I need to be. I feel pretty positive though. I went back to the doctor and I am now starting round three of antibiotics. That is not the best news, I can't have an active infection and have my surgery. This has to be cleared up. I have less than 3 weeks to go and I'm not better yet.

So I have nixed the daily walking even though I'm in less pain. I am trying for three days a week and I am only walking to my pokestop and back (about 4 blocks each way). I'm spending more time in bed and less time doing things that will mess up the healing process. Hopefully this will get me to a better place. I would normally "up the dosage" on my goals on the 1st of the month but I'm not planning to do that now. I'm going to keep my numbers the same but work on consistancy, except for the excercise thing...again I'm going to take a step back there but this will also give me a chance to practice consistancy so...I'm attempting to think of it as a win. Consistancy is good...and I'm not super good at it...as you all know. Bwahahahaha!

I will be changing up the therapy too. Monday is going to be the first day of our new plan. I'll be changing my focus from talking about my baggage to giving myself some tools to help keep the "episodes" at bay. What to do when I have them to stop them and what to do after to help myself stay out of the situation. We will also be talking about how I can take care of myself and things I can do when I can't take care of myself (i.e. if I can't shower, I can still wash my hair in the sink and change my clothes or if I can't eat healthy, I can still not eat all the ice cream or all the cookies...etc). Mostly I just need to find ways to stop myself from hurting myself so...this will be good for me!

This will get better, easier, and I will get faster at making it back to where I belong when I go "off-road"!

Great plan. You have to take 1 step back, so that you can take a leap forward.

GO GIRL! You've gotta do whatcha gotta do! The most important thing is to "Take Care of You" (are you a Julia Roberts "Pretty Woman" fan?) Follow the doctor's orders. GET WELL! Then get that surgery and continue practicing all the great disciplines you've already started developing!

Gee, I wouldn’t change your exercise plan unless your physician advises you to do so.

Please take vitamins and iron supplements every single day!!! Try to build your immunity by eating lots of coloured veggies, alpha alpha sprouts, beets and I wish you get well soon!

It sounds like a good plan to have tools to take care of yourself. Am glad you are doing things that are good for you. One of the best things is to reach out to your Heavenly Father that loves you so very much. If you can't feel Him enough to believe in Him, ask Him to reveal Himself to you. He loves you more than all the rest of us, put together. He wants to help you. You are slowly becoming stronger. Slow is okay. It's like losing weight. Slow is okay.

Have you heard about Vitalife? I just finished my 40 day weight loss phase and lost 33 lbs. my metabolism was that of a 90 year old man and I’m only 44. It’s now at a 65. Im in my lock in stage now at 222.2 lbs and my calorie intake has gone from 500-700 calories a day to 2500 a day in lock in. ( 2500 is according to my weight, metabolism, etc - that varies per individual ). The lock-in phase is 20 days and then I’m going back into another 40 day weight loss phase. I struggled all my life with fad diets, gimmicks and programs only to just gain it all back again. Vitalife works and teaches you how to eat healthy.
