Do you know body adapts to the calorie intake you give it? (survival mechanisms)

Good question! I'll ask a nutritionist. I started with 2200 cals. Didn't see any loss. With my lifestyle, body type and age, I was advised to go down to 1200 cal.

From 2200 drastically lowering to 1200, have you ever tried small changes at a time?

Keep us posted! according to my info...when the “new” thrill starts fading you will start binge eating or you will give up. Will love to hear a story that tells me other wise.

I started at 190 lbs here on Fatsecret and this has also helped me get to 180 lbs. by listening what I eat daily and good food tips from others.

Wow these nutritionist are truly only providing garbage information to their clients. I was 210 lbs I have lost over 80 lbs and have never in my journey eaten less than 1500 calories a day.

Good job! You are learning about your body, what is working to get you to your goal! I did the same when I first started, have to get back to it. 7000+ a day and 1200 calories . Take the tips with a grain of salt - your body is not anybody else's body!

Add some resistance training and up that fuel to 1500 and watch your body transform. Just a suggestion. Nice job on the progress
