Yeah I lost some weight. I have not really been trying . I have had three deaths in the family in under a months time. Things have been horrible here. I feel like a huge storm has landed over our family and is planted roots and is staying awhile. I saw the PA (physicians assistant) today. She still thinks my thyroid is in a low normal range but she hates to give meds for symptoms alone. BUT.. she is going to talk to the specialist before ruling the meds out. LETS PRAY... I need help, I need energy. I know you have to burn energy to build it. but if you have to take a nap after a 10 minute tredmill walk.. SOMETHING IS WRONG!!! Yeah I know I am obeise, but its more than that. Have had a med change.. so far so good. I am hoping it will help with the energy too. WISH ME LUCK!!!

I too have lost a loved one, my 22yr. old daughter. It is so hard to focus on anything else but the loss. But I know she wouldn't want me to be soooo unhappy. I am trying to make positive things happen in honor of her. Focus on something positive and force yourself to stay focused to continue to stay positive. You can only put one foot in front of the other everyday. (Keep your spurs spinning). But find something positive in your life each day, to get you through that day! Sometimes its not as easy as it sounds, but you must try for just yourself. I will also pray for you. Believe me, I walk in your shoes everyday! We just have to continue to try harder and stay positive!. I wish you all the luck in the world.

Well.... don't they say they come in threes? Hopefully that is all the bad news you are going to have for a long time to come!! I think you're right, something is not right, but maybe it's not thyroid. I hope they are doing a full blood panel and checking out all the options and tests. Keep after it until they find out what is keeping you down. Keep on kickin' it!! *hugs*

Each new day that comes is a fresh start. You have been through so much and you are still thinking about yourself, this is good. Even though you have had losses in your family, you are persevering and taking care of yourself. This is so important. You have sought a physicians help, that is half the battle for some people...you are so far ahead of where you think you are....you ARE getting help, so go a little easier on yourself. The Doc should help and if you are not satisfied, seek a second opinion. You know your body and you know what it feels like when you are lethargic so make sure you keep on those Docs...you are the one suffering and you need to advocate for yourself...keep it up, you are heading in the right direction. Linnie457 is so right....if you can put one foot in front of eachother and try to move ahead, you are doing amazing...baby step it through the day...we can support you and motivate you along...that is what we are here for. Just don't give up and keep as positive an attitude as possible. You CAN do it...and once the Docs get your meds sorted out, your body will start to feel that hard work you are putting into it. Hang in there ok? It will get better. Hugs!
