Wohoooo!! Whooop!! hehehehehe I'm down again today! Hurray!!! I'm feeling so much more in control and I really do think the walking is helping a lot.

I'm already worrying a bit as to how I can keep some of the walking in once I have my car back.....I'll have to give it some more thought. I can't imagine how to do without leaving the car stranded somewhere! Not ideal!

Today, well don't know what lunch holds in store just yet but I'll make sure it's low point and I think I'm going to make chilli for dinner. One thing that is driving me potty is that I bought ingredients a few meals a couple of weeks ago and didn't write down which recipes they were, thinking I would remember! Wrong! I bought firm tofu for something but I have no idea what....I can't work it out! At some point I'm going to have to read through all my cook books to work it out! Very annoying!! Needless to say I now write down our weekly menu!!!

Once you get your car there is no reason you can't leave it at home and walk into town like you have been. Save the car for when you need to bring home groceries or the weather is nasty. You'll gain fitness and save money. Win/win! Lol at the forgetting the recipe you bought the ingredients for. I wouldn't find it so funny except for the fact that it sounds exactly like something I would do - what I like to refer to as a "brain fart". I'm glad to see you have regained control and your positive outlook. Good job on the weight loss, too!

You are doing Great!!!!!!! Keep up the good work and all that walking is so good for you!!!!! I know that I need to get on the horse with the working out. I am having Chili tonight for dinner. I planned it all out and it is 4 pts without the sour cream and cheese...........LOL So if I am good today then I get to have cheese and sour cream on my chili otherwise I will have to go without.

The problem with the walking is that at the moment I am getting lifts as well...so I'm getting a lift to school in the morning and then walking back or I'll walk to school in the afternoon but then get a lift back. It's the only way as it's too far for my son to walk. Once we get the car back then I have to drive him to school and I wouldn't really want to leave the car parked there all day which is what I would have to do if I walked back home, if you see what I mean? I can certainly still walk to the shops when I need to. As for walking back from town....I'd have to drive back from school, park the car at home and then either walk into town (but I'd have to be quick to meet my friend at our normal time) or get the bus into town and walk back. that is one option. As I say, it's just a bit complicated but I'm sure I'll sort it one way or another!!! I still have no idea where the firm tofu belongs!!

With the price that fuel is going up here in the UK at the moment... there's certainly a big incentive to keep the walking up. Just look at what it's doing for your weight-loss at the moment too - woohoo, fantastic work, you keep it up!! ;o) There's a Tofu Stir-Fry in the recipes here... not that helps with looking through your cookbooks! But I guess another option, if you can't find the one you were going to try.
