I'm pleased with my weight loss this week. It has taken about a week to learn the correct things to choose to stay within my 1500 calorie diet. I still have this crazy feeling that I'm going to starve on a 1500 calorie diet. I know in my head that those feelings are plain nuts. Intellectually and physically I know that I'm not going to starve. It's a silly and totally unfounded fear. I wonder where this fear comes from? I've never been truly hungry or starving. Is this my human instincts kicking in and trying to give me a reason to cheat? Well, I'm not going to allow any cheating. It's been too hard losing the weight I have so far. I'm worth a normal life without all the extra weight and the health issues that go with it. I read that I don't have to understand the reasons for my unfounded feelings. All I have to do is change my behavior when it comes to food. I'm determined to make old habits die---the quicker, the better.

OMG that is awesome! I am so proud of you! Losing weight is eating correctly, of course, but it is 100 percent mental. Some people have a stronger survival instinct than others. Some have a deep seated fear of looking great or afraid of attention. Who knows? As you said... change the behavior and stay positive and keep that wonderful sense of humor. I haven't looked at the video you sent me yet. Going to before I get off here. Thanks... I love Boxers too, obviously. Hugs!
