mgussmann's Journal, 25 September 2018

I recalculated my macros and my goal is to stay within those boundaries. I can tell by my eating that I am sensitive to the calories. I've gotten rid of the Endulge Atkins bars and the last bag of pork rinds is almost gone. I bought different meats and have frozen them in portions so I won't overeat protein, which I tend to do. Blood sugar is down to 67, (3.7 mmol) wt. down. My hip and ankles tell me when I've put on weight because they hurt and affect by ability to walk. I still cook full meals for my husband and I'm not tempted to eat what he has. I've avoided most carbs all summer, but I really overeat meat. I'm fortunate that my husband is very supportive and I have a cousin here who also does Keto and reached her goal, plus FS support. Food journaling is essential for me. Macros are: 20g carbs 6%, 62g protein 19%, 108 fat 75%. Got near to my macros this week, but went over in caloric intake. This second week I hope to get closer to my macro goals. Baby steps.

that looks good you are losing weight at that level so your calories may be in line with the new macro's. adjusting macro's and calories to find what works best for you is all part of the process. lower calories is not always the answer here
