I binged yesterday. I'm pretty sure I'll see that weight in a day or two. I was pretty active as well, though, so at least I'm building some good habits. Biking to work has been working well. Of course it's been too hot to bike from work, but I'm also running, so 8.5 mi of biking + 3 mi of run/walking is a decent day's workout. No activity is going to compensate for yesterday's binge, but today I'll try to cut a few calories here and there in sacrifice to the diet gods.

I have been saying all summer that I need to ride my bike to work! Between the heat and my own selfconciousness (sp) I have not started, but I keep saying I will! Great job to you!!!

I have the luck that my gym is a block from work, so I don't have to worry about being sweaty or where I should change. But you definitely should ride if it's possible! Saving gas and getting cardio in twice a day is pretty much the greatest! Not to mention I'm super cheerful for that first hour of the workday when everyone else is dead.
