I STARTED EXCERCISING AND HAVE NOT LOST ANYTHING I WAS GETTING REALLY FRUSTRATED BUT MY COUNCLER SAID YOU USUALLY GAIN AND SINCE I LOST 0.2 LBS I MUST BE REALLY WORKING HARD. IT IS STILL REALLY FRUSTRATING TO BE WORKING SO HARD AND NOT GETTING ANYWHERE.
185.0 lb Lost so far: 21.0 lb.    Still to go: 35.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

The exact same thing happened to me last year. It just means that you're gaining muscle. Keep up the good work. !

When you first start working out, your muscles get little tears in them. They retain water to help repair themselves. This causes a temporary gain on the scale. Keep working out! Also, remember that the scale is only one way to measure weight loss success. My friend didn't lose weight for 6 months, but went down 4 or 5 clothing sizes. Just keep at it and have patience! You are doing great! (Taking measurements to see how many inches you lose once a month is a great motivator).
