Whaaaa! Been travelling, hard to resist comfort food. Upped calorie intake each day from 850 to 1000. Will have to go back down.
137.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 12.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I know I carb’d out 100 grams over what I should have daily which isn’t tons but enough to keep me up a pound from water retention with the carbs.

AHHHHHH I had no idea thats what it does! I've been saving 300 calories a day for chips and ice cream as my reward!

More carbs for me makes me retain water as the bodies response is to conserve sodium when there are more carbs circulating thus more sodium retained brings more water as well to retain so for me this makes my weight go up over a pound. If I drop the carbs and drink more water I loose what I gained in a day or two.

Travelling does present a challenge! Hope that 1.4 lbs hits the road soon.

Yeah i ate slightly less healthy on Wednesday than I had intended but like you, travelled for two days. My guilt is only really for the two white flour buns I had with the chicken burgers. All mayo and salad dressing was on the side and I hardly used any of that so don’t think I did too badly.

Thanks Jclawst and Watsond1! YEP, its them carbs that make for convenient eating! I can't use it as an excuse because I have a month more of travelling to go! Just roasted up a ton of frozen veggies in the oven to cart with me everywhere!

I have to laugh as being a night shift nurse my eating habits were poor. Lots of carbs to keep me going at all hours of the night. In these past 3 months I’ve been good but last night I gave in to my craving and had a chocolate popsicle 2 actually at 1 am. Oh well at least I don’t do this all the time so I’m rationalizing lol!!
