Well, back after a week of vacation and I'm basically at the same weight as before we left. I am pretty happy with that! Obviously, that means I didn't make much progress toward my goal, but I also did not slide back which was my biggest fear. Even with eating really rich, high fat southern foods and eating out for nearly every meal, my weight stayed steady. We did a lot of walking and we went swimming a couple times, so I'm sure that helped. Walking is such great exercise...I miss when I used to walk everywhere in college. I didn't really need to exercise then because my exercise was just built into my routine. I don't really see myself ever getting back to a lifestyle like that, so I guess I just need to accept the fact that I will always need to consciously put exercise into my daily routine.
I plan to get right back on track with my weight lifting circuit today. We also may go to the farmer's market and do some other shopping, so I'll get a little walking in too. I'm excited to get re-focused on losing weight. And I'm sooooooo close to meeting my first goal. I can't wait to get there and then set my next 15 pound goal!
