I'm changing the way that I note my weight here. I used to put down what is actually on the scale on a given day. I've decided that because a single weigh-in can fluctuate due to water weight, I'm going to start writing down my "moving average" weight from PhysicsDiet.com. Because that moving average is always lagging behind my actual weight (because it's an average of the past 5-10 days), it appears to be higher than the amount I actually weigh. For example, this morning I weighed in at exactly 219, but my moving average weight is 222.47.

The advantage to doing this is that as long as I am following the diet fairly closely and my weight is slowly declining, the moving average will reflect that, whether or not I'm retaining more water today than I was yesterday.

With this, I have gone back and reentered my historical weigh-ins as moving averages starting from March 9, 2010.
222.5 lb Lost so far: 19.5 lb.    Still to go: 47.5 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
losing 2.3 lb a week
