I've never used a diet before but I've been having some blood sugar problems and my doctor recommended that I take a look. What the heck. Whole grains and more veggies sounds good to me.

I'm not happy with the South Beach website but I've found other resources that look helpful. I'd really like to find some real-life menus that make sense with my no fuss lifestyle. Simple packed lunches and quick breakfasts will be a must.

Colette125, Also I'd take a look as some more options that also have a support system. My wife and I started a program with TSFL and we haven't looked back. It's easy for busy lifestyles and they use a Clincal food program. We use it in my clinic and I can't believe the results. Ask your doctor for metphormin and vitamin D. I was prediabetic and after I took both of these, no more prediabetes.
