Hey FS Warriors,

Its been a rough month between losing my kitty and hernia surgery. As you know its been a long year for me and I guess it finally wore me down a bit. Not being able to work out and consistently bad eating choices lead to weight added, between pain, depression, and school I was blowing off everything.

I own it and now am ready to get back at it. I am walking again and in the next two weeks not only will I be jogging again I will also be back at the gym after three months of not being able to do any strenth training.

Keep Grinding

Sorry for the loss of your fur baby. Now take it ez on you, hernia recovery is no ez thing. Hubby has had 2 Inguinal Hernial (one was a double hernia) repair and last month a abdominal hernia repair. The Inguinal took almost 3 months to fully heal the abdominal is nearly completely healed. Be good to yourself.

So glad to see you back. It is hard to understand how chronic health problems can wear you down, so I am glad to see you back. Take it slow getting back into exercising so that you can build your strength and workout consistently without injury. I'm so sorry to hear about your sweet kitty - that can suck the wind from your sails too. Please just find a starting place and ease yourself back into a good routine! You know you can do this!

Glad to see you back! You have been through so much in a really short time and that takes a toll whether we want it too or not. All the bad choices were only you trying to cope with all the changes an a necessary part of healing both mentally and physically. Find your place of strength and go for it. We are all on the same trip.

Thanks guys that why I love this place. I had to go inside the gym and do laps around the basketball courts, 7 laps per mile. I got a 2 mile walk with a few laps of slow jogging mixed in (jog a lap, walk a lap).
