love the update! man, im really struggling with my heels, lots of pain. ive always wanted to walk daily for at least 30 mins. but this foot pain is such a hindrance to that....4-8 miles!! how long does that take you?

4 miles about 1 hour 10 minutes (but i stop to feed squirrels and crows on the way so probably could be an hour). I do this walk twice a day when weather nicer. Listen, when i started walking July 2022 i had been having severe tear-inducing foot pain for years. I started a protocol of Epsom salt soaks before and after my walks for probably about six months and bought these socks that have the toes all separated (i got really good quality ones) which i would wear for about 15-30 minutes a day several times a day. I had pain in my toes, the pads and the heel. I also have numbness and sharp pains that occur but after about six months i realized the pain had lessened and now i have days with no pain and rarely any at all when walking. Don’t know if that will help you but it did help me. That first few months tho i was walking even when tears from the pain were falling. Not pretty but i was determined to get this weight off. For reference i was 227 pounds when i started walking post hip replacement surgery that month. Started off on walker, then a cane then my own steam. Hopefully this gives you some help? Btw. I have always been a slow walker even tho i am very tall and now i walk very quickly most of the time. So freeing.

Morticia do they make you nauseous?

Wow! Your waist is tiny! Your measurements are good in regards to your weight etc. I hope the nausea goes away. The fish oil always makes me gag going down. They are so big! Your miles are impressive as well. I barely get my required steps in these days. Weightlifting doesn't contribute to steps unfortunately...🩷💪

😜. Tks chica. Im still mourning my 24” waist that I cannot seem to recover. My measurements used to be 34, 24, 37. At 145-150. I dont understand why i cannot get waist back down to that number. Anddddd i actually miss my bigger hips and fanny! Sigh. We are never completely satisfied are we. So silly. Fish oil sucks. She said 3-4 a day. I chose 3.

I aim for 29" waist but it's been eluding me for a bit...I do know what you mean about bigger hips. I am pretty small in the hips too. Not much of a behind either. I don't like that but no matter how hard I try to build it , it doesn't happen....Cant wait to hear about hot HIIT class! 🩷

YOH- Do you know the brand name of the socks? Ive been learning of toe spacers! Apparently its a big issue to have shoe shaped feet and can be fixed with toe spacers. Even can lift more weight when feet are shaped properly! It does help thank you! I understand the pain!! I tried atoms shoes and they are making the pain worse cuz they are really narrow, so theres something to this.

Dazey: Foot Alignment Socks with Toe Separators by My Happy Feet | for Men or Women 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars 1,204 ratings | Search this page 900+ bought in past month $26.95 $26.95 Amazon. Be careful. You can wind up spending more than double if you aren’t careful. These were what i used. Also, try the Epsom salt. Commit to daily. I did hot Epsom salt soak for 15 -30 min every day for months except in summertime when my feet felt so hot then i would do cold Epsom salt soak. Maybe this will give you some relief? Let me know if it does im curious.

Also for Dazey—-get your feet analyzed at a good foot store that has that AI machine that measures your foot and makes recommendations for type of walking/tennis shoes for you. I got mine at RoadRunner if you have one of those where you are. And i invested in custom made orthotic inserts as well (make sure you take out the one that comes with the shoes tho before you put those in—yes, lol, i forgot for the first week and couldnt figure out why they were so tight.

Dazey, I use toe spacers. I buy them on Amazon. They help align my toes but it's temporary.

Your daily walking is really impressive!

Fritzy is it? Once i get out the door (sometimes have to talk myself into it but the furry boys help with motivation for them—they get soooooo excited to go on a “W”. It’s only a little over an hour. I feel like if i had wanted to i could have been doing this forever. I used to run for 45 minutes in the morning before work and walking is so much easier. And since im not working now why not do it a couple of times a day when its nicer outside.

Good for you on the waist!!! You are my role model and trying to get there! Do you have your B12 checked and was it low?

Rpl-no she just wants me to double up on it. I was taking one a day but post surgery she had me go to 2 a day and still wants me to continue. Not sure if that is because of current blocked arteries. I forgot to ask. I can be obedient in some ways tho not with prescriptions. The waist is hit and miss. Still hoping for the good ole days to return😂
