Making progress! Have you been cleared to cut back the Protein yet? I’ve not been caring about that lately - just trying to cut calories by cutting back on sweets and snacks. Daughter made crème brûlée again a couple days ago. This time, thankfully, I’ve been able to limit to just one small ramekin a day. Last time she made it, I ate 3 in one day! Don’t know why sometimes I can control things sometimes and not others. Keep up the walking! How much are you doing now!

Not so much cleared as he told me two more weeks. Interesting thing Debbie, is that i have been losing weight (tho it may be swelling i am unsure) with upping my protein so much. Currently i am trying to get around 100 tho if i get more even better. Protein is essential for muscle repair as well as muscle growth. Add more muscle then guess what, can eat more!!! As for why you can control things sometimes etc you have the same issue i do. You have a sugar addiction. It seems pretty evident. It is definitely true of me. You give yourself refined sugar from what i can tell daily so thats sort of like giving alcohol to an alcoholic every day then wondering why they cant control themselves. Sugar stimulates a part of the brain and demands more. Your energy spikes then crashes. You probably feel sleepy after eating sugar. I see that you use it as a reward for walks and so on. Are you in a space where you can give yourself a 30 day challenge to not ingest any refined sugar. See what happens to the beast inside that wants more sugar after that? Did you try the protein muffins? There are lots of ideas for sweet treats that are actually healthy and low cal to replace those empty calories that taste so good but dont help us. Im not in a place yet where i can have a little ice cream. I know it so i dont. Why stir up that craving that can overwhelm my thoughts? You are so close to getting out of the 80’s im very excited for you. Anything i can do to help or encourage you i am here for you Debbie. God bless
