Help!! I need some motivation to exercise, and I just can't find it! I've been doing okay eating. I'm making sure to get my fruits and veggies in, watching my calorie count, and trying to get at least close to 20g of fiber if not more. But I'm still hovering at 28 lbs. I know the reason I can't get the weight off is because of no exercise. I guess it's just that, after working all day, then getting home, fixing dinner, corraling the kids for their bath, and getting them to bed, picking up whatever the kids drug out each night, and doing some light cleaning so the dust doesn't take over each week, I'm exhausted. I know the things I've listed for the evening is technically exercise--better than sitting on my butt (lol), but it is not helping my weightloss.

I don't know what to do to help me get the energy to work out in the evenings. I love sleep too much to work out in the mornings, although that would probably be better. Any suggestions on what I can do? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

The truth is you have to make exercise and yourself a priority. We find to shower, eat, and do everything else. Exercise is the same. You have to decide how important getting healthy is to you. You can get some great crock pot meals so when you get home, you don't have to much to do to get dinner ready a few times a week. We can all squeeze out 30 minutes a few times a week. Jillian Michaels 30 day shred is 20 minute long. Get up 30 minutes early 3x a week and it will be done. It will be hard at first, but as your get stronger and healthier it gets easier. Take the kids for a bike ride or go walking 30 minutes in the evening. Make a small home gym with light hand weights and some dvds. Many are 30 minutes or less. Cook some meals on Sunday and freeze them, so you just pop them in the oven. Put on music and dance around as you clean. Be a NIKE commercial and JUST DO IT! Don't make excuses. You will feel 100% better when once it becomes a habit and you will be a role model for you kids. You can do it.

Thanks so much girls! I think that is what I needed to hear! :) I just needed a push, and, like I knew ya'll would, you supplied it! I desperately want this weight off, I'm determined. And...I know...I'm gonna have to sacrifice a little sleep, lol!! I also like the idea of preparing some meals on the weekend and freezing to make weeknights easier--I hadn't thought of that! :)

Suzi161 is right. Make time for you! Include the kids once in awhile too and make it fun. Yep, exercise can be fun(with the right music, lol). The library probably has video's you can check-out Free! Tell yourself you're gonna do it for 5min. Think you will find after 5 min you can go another 5. Pretty soon you wont be looking at the clock at all. Exercising was hard for me to get started with too. Now it is habit every morning. Good Luck! You CAN do this.
