moondove's Journal, 10 January 2018

Figured it is time to journal so that I can move forward to begin working on healthy living. I have been a hermit because I have been dealing with my emotions about how to deal with my health issues.

Over the holidays, gained and lost the same 7 lbs over the last 3 months, back in the end.

Hit with too many medical issues over the last 2 years and continue to have to see to many specialists, YUCK!:

Extreme Fatigue where I didn't even have the energy to go on vacation or to take care of my home.

Hashimoto's Disease (Diagnosed in Sept 2017)
Vertigo
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (Diagnosed in Nov 2017)
Low Vitamin B6, B12, Folic Acid, D (Have always eaten healthy dark green veggies and taken multi-vitamins.)
Peripheral Neuropathy (not diabetic related)
MGUS (Precursor to bone marrow cancer, Multiple Myeloma) (Diagnosed in Oct 2017)
Neurological issues of the brain still to be diagnosed. Had brain MRI, came back abnormal but no lesions. Thank God...

New Year's gift to myself: Gonna try hard to walk 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week to increase my energy and feel better.

Time to start tracking my food again.

Tracking is the BEST! -- You might find some useful stuff on Leanne Vogel's site, "Healthful Pursuits." I'm not affiliated, and not on board with everything she does (e.g. I don't use sweeteners, because they wreak havoc on gut health) but she has a LOT of excellent material.
