HCB's Journal, 27 September 2015

Greetings Best Buddies!

Thank you all so much for the great encouragement in yesterday's journal!

My primary goal is to change my body composition - which is build muscle and lose bodyfat. My weight loss is very slow - but I am determined to keep losing fat which I believe eventually moves the "Idiot Box."

Today was mildly difficult because my husband woke me at 7:00am saying his heart was racing the previous three hours - so off we went to the ER! He is fine but he had been started on a new medication last week that seemed to interact with his other ones. We spent four hours at the ER...but everything was normal and he now feels fine.

I cancelled my early gym class - BUT ended up still going to my class a little later in the day! I was relieved to get my workout in today! And of course, that my DH is fine.

And NEW words of the week!

Words of the Week:
"To achieve great things, be a great dreamer!"
I am dedicated, determined and diligent.

So glad your DH was ok I've done that with mine once and it's upsetting. You've done so well with your eating plan I'm sure you'll do good with the new part.

Sorry about the DH, hope you get those meds settled so they are working. That can upset your whole day. Glad that he is OK.

What a relief that your husband's 'fix' is relatively simple and NON-invasive! I imagine you had quite a bit of pent up stress and anxiety to pound out at the gym after a day that began in that fashion! Have a great week!

Thank goodness that it was the meds and you got him off of them before serious damage was done. I hope the workout went great!

What a scare. Glad he is all sorted out now and you got in your workout. I am sure you needed it. Sometimes switching things around during the week is all you need to get your body back to burning that fat, whether it is food or exercise. I guess you know that. :-)

So glad you DH is okay. Love the quote. I have found that I have not always been a great dreamer; time to work on that as well along this journey.
