Greetings Best Buddies,

Happy New Month Everyone! I am determined this month. I will be going on another seven day business trip October 7th - 13th. The best part is the venue has a fabulous gym and I can control my food. Last time I went, I actually lost some weight!

My goal is to hit the 160's before the business trip. Or, to at least get to my lowest weight since I started this journey which would be anything under 174. That is completely in reach - so if I hit 172 before the business trip I will be happy. One would think I could easily lose 5 or 6 pounds to hit the 160's...but my weight loss has been very, very slow so I am being realistic.

I noticed my pants are getting "baggy butt" again - so I went to Goodwill and got two pair of pants in a smaller size!

Today at my workout, I used 25 pound and 30 pound dumbbells for many of the moves - the trainer kept handing me heavier ones! LOL

25- and 30- lbs. dumbells -- you're a BEAST (but a beauty as well, of course)! I'm on a short business trip now (Chicago) and am pretty sure I won't have lost any weight (I'll consider myself lucky to 'maintain') so your previous drop during a 7-day business excursion is mighty impressive!! I think your short-term goals are easily within reach before the trip and 'Cheers' for your (now) MC Hammer pants!! :)

My SIL gets me really nice (some designer) clothes at a thrift store she volunteers. some are too small and make a nice incentive.

WIth my bad shoulders, elbows and wrists I would be impressed to ever get past the 15 lbs range. We shall see! Congrats on using heavier weights and gaining so much awesome muscle!

Thanks, HCB ... it's my aim/pleasure to amuse (it was your 'baggy butt' comment that inspired me!) and I consider that 'high praise' from someone who so consistently and expertly lifts other FS members up!! But instead of 'Cheers', I should have sent you a "You Can't Touch This!" shout out.
