Slept better 8+ hrs (Melatonin and valerian), then got up and walked 2 miles this morning. I felt like I was pushing myself to do that. 0% chance of rain it says and I am walking and it starts sprinkling. SMH I am hoping these few clouds blow over and then I can paint like I wanted to in a bit. But I am exhausted and it will be 90s on Wednesday and I do not fair well in the heat. Better to paint today if I can. I know half of my exhaustion is emotional like I am vibrating on the inside trying to get through everything I need to without faltering. Today is improved but even the walk did not give me my usual burst of energy. That is the emotional drain. Terrible way to feel but I am fighting it every step. The need for normalcy to return is more pitched than ever and would greatly aid in emotional and physical stability. I feel like I could crawl back into bed for the remainder of the day right now. If only I could. *sighs* Seriously in need of a zen day. Better to do list than I could come up with for today:

Yes, Just breathe! Deep cleansing breaths. You will do it. You WILL do it.

Defiantly breathe, take a bit of time off even a few minutes off and on during the day just to do nothing and let your body relax. You have been going at a crazy pace for so long, listen to your body, it's telling you to slow down.

Great words, Kelly. Balance is the key!
|
On the plus side you got sleep and some exercise in today. Give yourself permission to relax, even if it's just for a few minutes.
