Addie Aline's Journal, 28 July 2015

Well I had a small loss, at this rate it will be next year before I reach my goal but I guess that's ok. I kinda wanted to reach my goal before I got off induction and started trying to add new carbs to my WOE. I also wanted to be down more before I see my Dr on the 11th. But I guess I'll have to work hard just to be sure I don't gain.

I had to go to the grocery store today and I hit it right at the time they were baking bread, oh my goodness it took all my will power to not buy any. Bread products is a major weakness for me. Maybe because my mother baked bread when I was growing up....oh was it good. The first thing my kids did when we went to visit was ask her to make bread. I hope to not hit the store again when their baking. Some how I don't think I can be off it long enough to not feel that way when I smell it.

I hope when I go to AR my friend isn't craving bread she makes a lot of biscuits. Even though I'll be doing most of the cooking if that's what she wants during her treatment that's what I'll fix. She's already thin enough she doesn't need to loose anymore. I know it's going to be a real challenge for me to keep my carbs down when I'm there but I plan to try really hard.

Everyone have a good day and keep up the good work.

Welcome to my world. My kryptonite is baked...anything! Anyway, I found as one step, to look to sourdough bread. Hey, at least I'm avoiding Glutten! LOL! Check it: http://www.livestrong.com/article/532865-gluten-intolerance-sour-dough-bread/

If you can stay away from the bread and carb. foods long enough you will stop craving them....I PROMISE! Grew up on bread, pasta, potato products (french fries, chips). It is hard at first ( God I love chips and sandwiches) but if you can tough through the urges the cravings will go away!! :)

I too am taking it one step at a time and we'll see if it really does go away. I wasn't craving it until the smell hit me. Even now at home I'm not really craving it. It was just that smell!!!
