After several years of trying different things, the best results with the least effort have come from two things. #1 and most important, I stopped eating between my 2-3 meals per day. No snacks, protein bars, protein shakes, mints, Comes, anything. 2-3 meals and water in between. I now am convinced it is the insulin elevation/spikes from eating frequently that has prevented weightloss in the past. #2 I've stopped eating like a freaking hot in those 2-3 meals. Simple portion control. And trust me, I'm still eating. I'm not starving. but I don't have to feel stuffed after every meal. That's it, those two things. sometimes I still eat fairly keto, other times not. but by not putting something in my stomach every hour or so, keeping my insulin high, and eating just a little less than I want, I've almost achieved my goal in three weeks.
188.2 lb Lost so far: 11.8 lb.    Still to go: 3.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 12.6 lb a week
