Thanks for the encouragement yesterday! Enjoyed the game - Pens won 5 to 0. Stayed away from junk snack food and just had a little container that had cheese, celery, carrots, and a few apple slices. No ranch, no nuts. I wish it didn't have so much sugar - 7 grams - almost 2 tsp! Carrots and apples have a lot of sugar. I am still not confident it was the best choice but it was still better than the alternative.

I am sore from lifting yesterday - was doing deadlifts. That move is a full body workout!

THAT was a great choice! Apples and carrots have carbs but are still good for us and a great alternative to junking it!

Shelly l’m SO PROUD! LOL you did id! You planned ahead! You got through the game! Yay! LOL 🙆🏻‍♀️💕You were in a hostile environment where everyone else was eating junk and where you normally break down and eat junk and you ate GOOD choices!!! 💁🏻‍♀️WOW! Take a minute and congratulate yourself for this NSV girl and look back at your last visit in your journal and how unhappy you were! LOL! 🤷🏻‍♀️This deserves celebration 🍾! Okay! Now! If you aren’t happy with the choices, think about them a bit differently? Kay? 🙋🏻

💁🏻‍♀️An apple can be eaten over the course of a week or so, if it’s fresh. Cut it in half and cut out one quarter. Put the other parts in a ziplock in the doir of the fridge and you eat 1/4 in very thin slices, buy a grater that will thinly slice cheese, do the same eith your celery by halving or thirding the stalks and if you are on keto, use the ranch. You don’t need to drown your food in it, but the fat won’t kill you. Or mix 1 T cream cheese with 1/4 T ranch and smear it on the veggies. 🤷🏻‍♀️mix ranch and onions and celery with tuna and put it on cucumber or zucchini slices to eat during the game. Or wrap it up in romaine with some sweet pickle relish or dill spears? You can do lots! LOL I don’t know how elaborate you want yo get? But you had a fantadtic win! LOL 🙋🏻
