Earthlady's Journal, 28 June 2012

I had a lovely walk by the sea yesterday. I had a little extra time so I sat down in the lea of an upturned rowing boat on a deserted part of the beach and watched the swallows swooping and diving. The next thing I know I've been dozing (in the sun) for nearly an hour! Thankfully it was late afternoon so no sunburn! I was pretty thirsty when I woke up, though. Rounded off the walk with a twenty minute swim and then home for a shower and dinner.

Home is not a great place to be at the moment as MIL has arrived and is staying. She takes over and I feel like a stranger in my own home. Hopefully she'll be gone soon...

Two more days at work, including today. Internet reception at home is intermittent so I may not be as regular here as I have been, I hope they get it sorted out. I was on a Skype call with my sister last night when the Internet suddenly disappeared and the connection didn't return.
