mars2kids's Journal, 12 April 2018

Last week I had more days of eating under my RDI, now this week I'm going over. I'm not eating tons of junk, but just going over. So, my focus will be on the change from one week to the next and how I managed to stay under one week and go over the next. I'm feeling good though, I've been exercising, trying to eat healthier snacks, and keep my dinner portions to one serving (or less if it's not very good for me). Last night I was feeling kind of down looking at my RDI's from these two weeks, so I took some measurements, and I saw that I had lost a quarter inch in my arms, hips, and thighs, so I was happy with that and it helped me really focus on what I want. If I lose a quarter inch here and there, that's progress, even if the scale doesn't say so. I need to keep eating what I know is good for me and makes me feel good and I will learn that sweet spot where I am feeling good and still losing some fat, but gaining strength. Educating myself is hard, but so worth it.
