Well, the weight is up. But that's to be expected after finishing a cleanse a couple days ago. My goal is to not let it go up more than 1.5 pounds, while I slowly readjust my body to solid foods again. Then, hopefully, the scale will trend downwards again.

Yesterday made it VERY clear that I can't push myself - walking on the treadmill will have to do as exercise for a while until my body is up for more. I'm going to try to do an hour walk, and then I'll feel much better. :)

ALL tempting foods are out of the house, so even if I do feel tempted, it will be with something good for me. This morning was Purging Of The Cupboards Day, and let me tell you: it felt gooood.

Parents are flying from Cali to here on the east coast in a couple days, which is wonderful except for the fact that it will include restaurants and foods that my body probably won't be in the mood for. I already pre-warned myself - it's my birthday so there's NO way I'm NOT having cake, but I'll try to make it a small slice. ;)
This next week is the real health challenge. I feel like if I can do this, I can do anything!

What I've done lately for cardio is gone Rocky style, I layer up to increase the sweat. It's a little more messy, but effective in getting rid of a little more water weight. Witht e restaraunts, well, don't be afraid to pick off the stuff you know you shouldn't eat! I do it all the time. If pizza is the only option? I chuck the crust and gobble down the cheese and meat. You can stay on point. Do that and that cake is definitely an even bigger reward! :D

Definitely don't deny yourself cake on your birthday!! It will be hard when you have guests over and you're eating out a lot to keep on track but it can be done, just try and order something that has a lot of vegetables so your getting some goodness! If you know you're going to indulge a little (and it being a special occasion who would blame ya?!) then just try and fit in an extra workout somewhere in the day to make up for it, it can be done! And you'll feel so much better :) its what I try to do if I know I'm going to break my good habits! I hope you have a lovely birthday and keep up the good work! :)
