Good morning everyone. I had an interesting and educational weekend. I learned that since I greatly reduced the amount of refined sugar I consume – I am really sensitive to it. I cooked a pork loin in the crock pot with one serving of BBQ sauce (it will remain nameless to protect the innocent). After doing the numbers most of the carbs in that meal were from the sugar in the sauce. I had a good amount of protein and vegetables so I looked at the meal as a total item. I ended up crashing badly to include sever joint pain. It took nearly 8 hours for things to get back to normal-ish. The lesson I learned is that I can have BBQ sauce – I just can’t cook the meat in it and I can’t have the majority of the carbs coming from sugar. It is going to be a while before I try this again by the way. Today is a new day and I am going to go find an americano. I wish everyone well on their journey today.

Possible? Just posted a barbecue sauce in her last post that was only 2 carbs that she said was amazing. It was too blurry a picture for me to catch the name, it looked like it had G. Hughes on the label though. It also had Hickory smoke flavor added so I ignored it, which is why it too me a little bit to connect the two posts in my head. 🤷🏻‍♀️
