SHEESH! Talk about surprised!
I bought myself a pedometer, to track how many steps I take per day. On "The Best LIfe" program, you're supposed to catagorize your level of exercise for the day. I was shocked to find out that yesterday I only walked about 800 steps! That, by the way, is on the low side of level ZERO! LOL Not good! The goal, for each day, to be on level 1, which is the minimum requirement, consists of: 3,500 to 5,999 foot steps every day (minimum 6 days per week) OR
Walking/other light aerobic exercise: minimum of 2 days/week, total of 60-89.9 minutes for the week
No strength training
Guess I better get my feet in gear today!!! lol
The other requirement for my first phase on TBL program is to eat a BL breakfast. Today I'm going to have a whole wheat english muffin with almond butter and a plain yogart with blueberries.
I'm feeling a nice sense of freedom with starting this program. I have no idea why other than feeling the encouragement I saw from the people that were on Oprah's show last Monday. I figure if they can do it, so can I. And, if they could do it with TBL program, why not give it a try.
I have been trying to tap into that "sexy, feel great" feeling, as that's my ultimate goal...and it's really helping me stay focused!
Well, better be off. Gotta eat my breakfast, prepare for the week, and get some walking/exercise today. Got my 32oz bottle of water with me, too!

I love to see your enthusiasm - I think TBL is a realistic program that one can sustain for the rest of their life. Now get steppin out!

Yayaya!!! Lovin' the new TUDE girl!! Funny to find out what makes us tick or what gets us into gear. We're all wired differently, thats for sure! :) Awesome that you found one that's working for you! That's right, you git on up in that saddle and RIDE LIKE THE WIND!! YEW-HAW!! :) lol btw... don't forget to add "Big Johnson" to your buddy list... enjoy his colorful bio! LMAO

I am very pleased with my blood sugar levels after breakfast this morning! It was 91! That's pretty darn good! I can't believe it! Especially with having fruit and a start first thing in the morning. Oddly enough, I'm not hungry yet, either. Interesting! =) It's sunny out today! Yay! Gonna go enjoy some of it! Thanks everybody for your words of encouragment and support!

Yay! Went for a walk around our local lake and had a nice breath of fresh air! It felt great! Walked 1000 steps around that lake! Figure I gotta walk 3 times around to meet my daily exercise level, when I'm not workin' out! 3 times will take me about 45 minutes! Can't wait for Spring to get here!

Way to GO girlfriend!! :) I'm soooo happy to hear that step in your voice! As soon as I can get my health back under control, I'll be nawin' at yer heals, too! lol =D You're so gonna rock this weight off with this new system!! So, what did you eat for breakfast??? Awesome number, btw!! Fruit is great for breakfast, but I have to have some proteins with it, too.

I had a whole wheat english muffin with 2 TB almond butter, 6 oz plain, n/f yogart and 1/2 cup of frozen triple berries mixed in. I also had a cup of coffee.
