Fritzy 22's Journal, 20 February 2018

My eating is still not what it should be. Not awful, just not what I want. Had a 2nd cup of hot chocolate this afternoon because it is so COLD and hot chocolate is one of my comfort foods/drinks. Did walk for over 2 hours so hopefully burned off any excess calories. Thank goodness there are no more English muffins in the house (because I ate the last one for lunch today with peanut butter!). I do better on portion control when it's 1/4 of a bagel. Any other kind of bread I overeat. I could eat a whole loaf of French bread if I buy it when it's still hot at the grocery store (okay maybe just half). Maybe one day they will discover the best diet is as much bread as you want-and that vegetables are actually bad for you. Okay, I'm living in a dream world when I think like that.

Thanks Patty, but I'm just treading water in February. Looks likely I'll end up the month around the same weight I started. But then, there are 8 days left...................

It's all good Fritzy, I don't feel any difference in weight, but it sure beats my original of 260 it's all how you look at it!

I know what you mean Patty. I just took all my "fat" clothes and put them in a plastic storage container. The size 16 & 18 and 16W, 18W jeans and all my 1X tops. Since I can fit into most of my 14 jeans, I'll wear them. It makes me feel better. There are a couple of 16's that fit nice, so I haven't put them away yet. Maybe I'll wear them when the 14's are in the laundry. I even went down a bra size, so put 3 of the too big bras in the container. I've got size 14 jeans in one drawer, I may go find the 12's and put them in the bottom drawer. I'll try some on and get a good idea of how much harder I need to work.

Little indulgences are ok, of you balance them out through the day/week. A second cup of cocoa is NOT going to undo all of your progress, nor is a single English Muffin. If my macros are off at the end of the day, I try to balance it out in the weekly average (I love that function on fs). Be patient with yourself (:

I took some things to a laundramat to try and shrink them it appears I was fooling myself blaming the dryer when it was my eating habits, sorry dryer lol I can't get a good picture the clothes just hang as I can now wrap them around me. Hello Goodwill! Stay strong Fritzy❤️
