Ok I was a lazy ass this morning. I could have gotten up, but I didn't. I was up a lot later than I should have been and that was how I justified it but least the numbers on the scale are still dropping.

Went right after work to get my hair cut. I decided with the condition of my hair that I needed to chop it and begin trimming it regularly again to grow it out. It looks good, but I do miss the length I had. We cut probably 5-6 inches off. I will post a pic later today if I can get someone to take a decent one for me. It still needs to be rebleached tho.... MAJOR ROOTS!!

Left my friend's house at about 6:30 to head home (about a 25 minute drive) and about 5 miles from home.... dead stop traffic. Well the fiance, who was behind me by about a mile had the luxury of the freeway warning sign saying there was an accident. I wasn't so lucky. It took me 15 minutes to go half a mile to the next exit to back track and drive through town to get home. By the time I got home it was 7:30 and I was STARVING. We headed over to the other side of town to pick up the monster child and then to Applebee's. I really have to pat myself on the back. I stared at that menu for 15 minutes debating what to eat and passed up all of my favorite things (french dip sliders, wonton tacos, etc) for the serloin and garlic shrimp. I have had it before and forgot just how good it really is. I was really glad I decided to be good and get that instead of something grease laden and horrible for me. For 500 calories, I could still have a drink and calm down and eat all of my food. I get REALLY irritable when I am hungry and between that and sitting in traffic found myself snapping at everyone including my daughter and the waitress. By the time we got home it was 9 so I got the kiddo in bed and made it to bed myself about 9:30.

I think I am going to text my gym friend tonight so that I cannot skip spin tomorrow. Need to get in some kind of exercise. In the mean time, I am going to think up something new and yummy to make for dinner tonight. Chicken based I think.

Hopefully tomorrow will be low key. Bug is with her dad this weekend and we have a memorial service to go to. We didn't really know the guy so I don't think we will be there long. It was the son of a neighbor/neighbor of Ryan's mom. We feel bad because his mother has been going rounds with the coroner trying to get his cause of death changed. They have it down as suicide but in reality it may be just a stupid intoxicated accident. He fell (or jumped) off the local bridge. Just happens to be that this bridge is the highest in the US (I believe). 750 feet to the ground. A litte tidbit of knowledge, it is the bridge that Vin Diesel jumped in the beginning of XXX, where he bails out of the corvette. Funny, for being so little, our town has had some pretty good movies filmed there... XXX, Phenomenon and I know there was one more I can't think of now.

Anyways, there is my rambling for the day. Happy Thursday Buddies!

5-6 inches is a significant chop. i bet the ends feel so much better. and the roots look - wasn't that fashionable? "ombre" is the nice way of saying it.
