My plan for today was going to involve recording what my fitness monitor says I burn for calories in a day. But then it occurred to me that I know what makes me lose weight: 1200 calories a day, and 10,000 steps of exercise a day. When I was doing that I was losing 1.5 pounds a week. It was hard though. I have always been the kind of person to do the bare minimum required so I set my goal at 1300 and 4 or 5 days of 400 calorie exercise (weight lifting or dancing) to lose the "recommended" one pound per week which is a cop out since I know I can do better. And doing the 1300 is also hard, so what am I gaining by slacking if it isn't getting me what I want? Seems like I should just hit the 1200/10k goal and I know I will like it better.
I have to admit/hate to admit I am not hitting either of those goals consistently so maybe I just really need to go back to the way that works.
Hate when I am sabotaging myself and figure it out. If I really loved me, I would eat less and exercise more. And Valentine's Day coming up I got no romantic interest to do it for me.
Right now I have a lot of guilt about a situation with an acquaintance and that person't belongings which are stored in my house. I know if I get more involved I will end up with a housemate I don't want but I feel badly that the person seems to have nowhere to go. It is causing my sleepless nights feeling guilty that I have physical space but not the mental space to be accommodating.
Ah well. Monday.

Yes! Do it for you! I think that way anyway since my husband thinks I am "fine" even when overweight!
