had a great breakfast today. the lesson today was that I went to a friends birthday party and it was a pot luck. it was way harder to try and figure out what was in every dish than I anticipated. I prepared and made sure I had eaten appropriately and snacked on schedule so that I wasn't hungry and have to panic eat to keep my blood sugar up. so I did the best I could and made the best choices I could; felt good about being disciplined and not binging on things I know I shouldn't eat. I did a BGL test when I got home and the levels were right where it they should be. I am glad this went ok...on to the next lesson...
