SheaDlady's Journal, 21 January 2018

Tomorrow is weigh in day. Have an appointment with doctor for recheck since getting home from hospital. They tell me I have COPD, but I have NEVER smoked. They also think I have blood clots because of a specific blood test they did. My real problem is not having enough energy and being tired all the time. I am looking for something that might help with that, and open to suggestions. Surfing web for some answers.

Talk with your pcp about the lack of energy. Perhaps the clots have something to do with it.

my mom has copd and has never smoked. But she has had lots of pets inside the house for so many years and that is what the docs think caused it. Im sorry to hear you have it too. Good luck with everything.

Blood sugar checks - if high will seriously rob you of energy. Low or inefficient thyroid function will do it to. Obstructive apnea too..... There are so many variables to look at.

A regular multi vitamin helps me with the energy. I have a clotting issue I've dealt with since I was 19... blood thinners for life here. Good Luck. reach out if you need!

I had low Vitamin D2 and that's why I was tired all the time, so check that out, too. Good luck🍀

Before i knew i was t2 diabetes i was exhausted confused my max weight was around 165 and doctors never checked my a1c cause i wasnt huge in appearance. I went on a low carb diet which helped a ton, and lately ive been trying keto and i have much more energy and less water retention. So much so my rings are getting to big. Ive also noticed taking some mag pills helped with my energy too. Still on metformin though so not out of the water,

Used to be diabetic, know the signs and symptoms of low/high blood sugar, and have had to resort to a small sugar shocker occasionally, but I don't like to.
