I'm having a really hard time right now. I'm battling depression/anxiety and my emotions are all over the place. Being an emotional eater means that my eating has been, too. Sometimes I don't want to eat at all and others I just want to drown myself in a sea of food. It all equals really bad eating and gaining again. All I can do it pick myself back up and try again to remain in control of myself and my emotions. I'm going to go back to yoga class starting this weekend. I really hope that getting centered again will help.

Exercise will help control your emotions. Often when dieting your body takes strain like it is 'in shock'form all the -lack of- sugars and high energy foods. You will probably feel more tired than usual, lathargic and low on energy. It's just a transition period. If you make the time to go for walks it will help. But walk with your head up and you mind driven to reach your goal. You are the only motivation, and the mind is such a powerful thing. If you are determined to change, make little changes which will eventually help you reach your goal.

Also chamomile tea will help stabilize your moods and help you relax. There is also other herbal tea such as St. John's Wort tea that might help. There is nothing like a cup of hot tea to relax and help get the day going better.
