Lisa Kay's Journal, 07 December 2017

It's been a really long time since a journal entry, so here goes!
I'm starting to "wonder" if I'll ever see "Onederland" ever again. It's been over a year and I just can't seem to get my weight down. I've really had trouble ever since August of 2015, I've gained and never really got back on track for any length of time. I was happily at 170 then, and I went to Hawaii for a week vowing to eat whatever I wanted, which I did and it was awesome. I gained 5 pounds, but worse, I lost my healthy mojo and have never gotten it back. Healthy eating is erratic and exercise more so. I have weeks of good followed by months of not good lol.

Writing this I suddenly realized I also changed jobs in March of 2015, and my commute is awful and so is the job. It pays great but it's dreadful and doesn't suit me at all. This could be the problem!! Ha leave it to writing about my struggles to give me an epiphany! Still, I ought to be able to balance getting back on track and this job. I entered a half marathon in March, and it's forcing me to run (sounds like it's against my will, and it kinda feels that way!). I'm avoiding sugar and gluten and grains and drinking bulletproof coffee every morning. I strength train, I hula hoop, I do yoga, and I just joined a gym. I tell ya, if I don't see 199 on the scale soon, I will be hard pressed not to sit down and eat an entire cake.

You nailed it Glen about this site--the less I post, the more I gain. Absolutely. Thank you!!

100% agree Glen, the more I use the app, the more inspired and motivated I am. I rely on the fs family primarily for the support and motivation. If I start to backslide I will log every morsel also.
