I'm back!!!! A week in Atlanta for my sister-in-law's wedding and I'm happy to get back to my schedule, my meals, and back in the gym. My food choices over the past week were ehh.... fair to say the least. I did have the opportunity to cook dinner for my in-laws (which they love - I'm so blessed that they enjoy Paleo cooking!) and my husband's Aunt & Uncle. I don't think my Uncle was too thrilled. He put splenda on his SALAD. Yikes!

The best news I can share are the small changes that I've seen take place at my in-laws. My mother-in-law is diabetic with a history of Alzhimers in the family. Eating Paleo will do amazing things for them, if they will completely commit to it. Last summer they visited and mother-in-law went grocery shopping for me. I told her not to buy any bread for our family because we will not eat it. She came home with THREE loaves of bread. I'm thinking 'what the h....' Then I came to realize that she bought those 3 loaves of bread for the 2 of them. They were only staying for 5 days. I was devastated.

Flash forward to last week. At my in-laws house there has always been a bread basket filled with at least FIVE loaves of various breads. This time when I visited, the bread basket was GONE. Throughout the duration of my entire week visit, I only saw 1/2 a loaf of bread in the house. And my father-in-law was showing off the coconut oil that he bought and now uses on a regular basis. Woo Hoo! It's a small victory, but I'll take it. =)
