Dej61's Journal, 21 April 2012

So far the first day was tough. I didn't feel satisfied after eating. I am doing the Jorge Cruise Belly Fat Cure diet. I did stay pretty close to the 15/6 program. I know I need to get some food in the house which is 0/0 so I will always have something to munch on. Going from what was probably a 3000 calorie diet with lots of sugar to this one will take some adjustment. But I am truly sick and tired of being in pain, being tired, and being unhealthy. My sugars have been so out of control lately but then so has my eating. Just in following this diet my sugars have dropped in half. I haven't been over 210 on any of my sugar checks. After just eating I'm at 169 which is pretty good for me. Anyway, I just hope I can stick to it.

Thanks rockytu. I'm definitively going through withdraw. In the last two weeks my 18 year old nephew died and our family has been dealing with that. The neighbors having the best of intention has bombarded us with food and of course being the emotional eater that I am ate everything. I check my sugars and they were out of control. I happened to go into the doctors to give a blood sample and weighed in there and realized I had gained back the 20lbs I had been keeping off. Why is it so easy to gain and so difficult to lose? I'm hoping the belly fat diet will help me lower my sugars while allowing me to eat some thing I still love. We will see.
