Note to self with regard to the disappearance of chronic insomnia, diet does play an important role. I've been awake for two hours after a 3 hour "nap." I'm a tad anxious about my school and work schedule today, all the things I have to do and a lot of Algebra to be studied tonight (like that's going to happen).

This is the 2nd time it has happened to me. I didn't take in enough calories and they were not balanced. We are all different. What works well for one doesn't always work for another and we sometimes grow frustrated when we compare ourselves to others. I no longer compare myself to others and this has forced me to note my own patterns. It would be selfish for me to not share my patterns with those who may venture by and see this entry.

I need carbs 63% of my intake to a ration of 37% protein. Twice now, I've deviated from it and also ate too few calories. Time got away from me. <gulp> Two more hours before I can eat breakfast and I'm hungry now. I'm not pulling off the 12 hour fasting principle. Still, it's the scheduling demands for the next few days that will keep me from going back to sleep. <sigh>
