I need school to be over. I have resolved that this summer will be different than last. I will ENJOY my time outside of teaching and not spend it all working in a restaurant that wears me down and provides bad food choices and consumes my life. I am going to work minimal shifts over the summer, work in my yard, plant flowers and vegetables, take my dogs swimming in the river, go for long walks, start going back to Zumba, go to the beach...and have lost at least 30 lbs before my cruise in August! Because the kids are checking out, I am checking out on my job, lol...teachers get senioritis too! :) I can't wait for them to be gone so I won't have to compromise my routine anymore with mountains of grading. Bring on summertime!
