I haven't been to the gym in six months, and when I returned today, I discovered that during my absence, someone made the mile longer. Must be some political ploy that slipped by un-noticed, but it definitely took longer, and was much harder to complete. Either that or perhaps the treadmill was not functioning properly, but geez. Even with only a slight incline it took 20 minutes to get through it. I'm considering writing a sternly worded letter to the legislature, but I guess I will go again tomorrow to verify my findings before taking further action.
