I am finding that losing weight is both physical and spiritual. One thing I have found that helps (not to be confused with a miracle) is apple cider vinegar. I am taking 2T/day diluted in water and cranberry juice. I just feel better, I feel like eating right, I feel like going to the gym. My joints don't hurt. I still have to walk through my journey, but now I feel like I have the right shoes.

I keep buying that stuff, having heard of all the health benefits, and then it sits in the cupboard until it turns brown-ish and I throw it out!! I never remember to put it in anything. (More or less the same deal with Flax seeds, plus who wants to grind them?)

Use a coffee grinder discovered that years ago works great. one of those little ones can you get like from Walmart.

I do the same thing with the vinegar. The last I had was used for canning peppers. I believe it has health benefits. Need to try again.
