I'm starting the first step of The Insulin-Resistance Diet" This step include logging everything I eat and working on linking and balancing Carbs to Protein, for every 15grams of carbs which is one serving I need to have 7grams of protein (30gmax to 14g min per meal). I can have more protein but not more carb per meal. Veggies are already linked and balanced so I can eat most of them to my heart(stomach)desire. Corn and potatoes are to be limited since they are very high carbs. Fruits like apples, pears, peaches, plums, cherries, and grapefruit DONT need to be linked with protein but do have a limit on them. 1/2 cup per serving every two to three hours apart from the last time you ate them. My daily ratio is 45% carbs (810 cals), 30% protein(540 cals) and 25% fat (450 cals).

So for lunch today, 53 grams of carbs to 27 grams of protein which turns out to be 3.5 serving of carbs to 3.8 serving of protein. I was high on the carbs but they were linked and balance with protein in the correct portion. I'll need to work on the serving more to get more balanced with that.

This is all in the hope of keeping off the weight I have lost already and continue to lose the extra weight that needs to come off. And to stop the carb frenzy I go into when my blood insulin levels drop after a high spike. (eating carbs)
