Just found out my scales weigh 8 pound under what they should be so have entered my weight with the pounds from my GYM scales. So if putting my weight from my own scales would have lost 5 pounds but going off the gym scales recalculated weight I gain 3 pounds.

Boy, did this ever hit home....I faced the same dilemma a couple of months ago when I bought a new digital scale. My new scale weighed me in at almost 10 pounds heavier...I was devastated. I decided that I would just stick with my old scales...after all, a scale is only one measure and relevant to where you started and where you end. Someone on FS suggested "how did I know the new scale was calibrated correctly?" Good point, eh?
