We've shown the house we want to Jenny (she's one of Shirley's power of attorney's with Tony) and she agrees that it's perfect for us. The surveyor who should have come on Friday to make out a floor plan so that a price for this place can be haggled over didn't turn up, and should now come on Tuesday.
Tony's son Mike was discharged from hospital 12 hours after his appendectomy. It was keyhole surgery, no muscle cut, and he can go back to work on Monday - though his doctor will sign him off for another week if he wants. He travels by tube and we said that if he gets clunked by a briefcase or something it could hurt, so he'll probably take another week.
My weight has stayed the same. I've got new scales (again) and they weigh heavier by about 300 grams so being the same weight on the scales could actually be a couple of hundred grams less, but I'm happy to stick with the new ones.
Have a good week everybody.
