Yeowch! I am just entering my food that I wrote down during my trip away from home. We were celebrating Easter with a family visit this weekend. I ate A LOT of foods and my calories are VERY high! I just learned the importance of being able to log in and enter foods as I usually do all day long. It is VERY important to actually keep doing this I see as it totally helps keep a person on track!!

I did avoid carbs and sugar on Friday very well at our first stop, up until yesterday, and I have somehow managed to maintain my weight within the two lbs, however tomorrow might just be a different story on the scale and I really am dreading the results!!! I just may do a correction day regardless to clean up my insides lol!

What I can't count on my food diary over this whole weekend was
1. one very small cabbage roll, homemade with a bit of rice.
2. One very small sliver of angel food cake with real lemon filling and homemade icing. My man's grandmas is a very good cook!!
3. I ended up eating two Lindt chocolate eggs and two small cadbury eggs over the last two days ( I know I am Baaaad!)
I was also taken out for supper to an italian restuarant tonight....
4. I had one small piece of bread soaked with balsamic and olive oil ..mmmmm
5. I ate veal smothered in mushrooms and sauce, with mushrooms and grill zuchinni as a side - I did ask them to not put any pasta or potatoes on my plate and this part wasn't too bad.
6. I ate two battered cini peppers stuffed with herbed cream cheese and
7. I had one shot of Bailey's liquor!!!!

I will say this...my stomach is actually hurting me right now....I ate this big meal 4 hours ago and I think I did too many carbs at once after not having any in my diet since Feb 13th!!! I knew better but we were "celebrating" mine and my spouses birthdays early as we don't get to see his mom that often!

This was NOT my usual strict self and I actually did not cheat at all on this diet up until this weekend. I made the not so great choices to eat the foods I know I should not have. I kept on track the best I could but I did cave at the end of the day...I hope this does not hurt my progress and if it does, it really was my own fault!


Heres to hoping
153.0 lb Lost so far: 30.6 lb.    Still to go: 13.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Your being pretty hard on yourself... I messed up this weekend, too. It's hard not to beat ourselves up, but it really doesn't serve any purpose. I actually sabotaged my apple day by dipping my last apple in almond butter! What in the world was I thinking! Once I started, I couldn't stop. I have the choice today, though, of being positive or negative. I am doing this thing to the best of my ability and I have come so far! You have, too. You are doing this SO well! I'm really proud of you that you didn't give in and consume large amounts of the culprits. I'm thinking that you might not realize that NO starch is allowed, it's not the amount of carbs, it's specifically starch and sugar. Anyway... I think you're awesome and and inspiration to us all! You GO, GIRL!

Do you have the app for smartphones? I do almost all my food input from there, so I have it with me at all times. That helps!

Hey there! I did gain today and am doing an apple day I decided. I still don't feel that great but also am possibly feeling a cold coming on too!. I know I am hard on myself but I feel better about it all today despite. I won't give up and have 11 days left of this phase and I will go out without a "cheat" ;) Unfortunately I have just a basic cell phone so I am not able to do anything with apps. Thanks so much for the compliment. I can only hope to inspire others as I get inspiration from everyone else as well!

I was thinking about it, however I got home late last night and in to work this morning....not sure if I could have gotten to the store for Yogurt - I did have lots of apples however and so far on my third one! I really need to get in all my water today as well. I should get back on track tomorrow!
