I am debating on doing Take off before I go out of town and during the 4th of July, or should I do Take off next Monday? Anyone have any suggestions, I did not stay on plan this weekend and I haven't done this in awhile. I feel awful and have gained three lbs according to my scale here, anyway. If I was to do take off it would be during the 4th of July and might keep me from eating bad...

So sorry to hear about the counselors you first had - that'd be rough!!!! Two weeks ago I gained 3 pounds, a week ago I lost 5 pounds, and today i was up 1......the way my body is responding to this sure seems strange to me!! I've not done the Take Off since I joined -- if you think doing it during the 4th would be helpful to you - then I'd go for it. laura

Thank you Laura for your comments. I decided to wait until Monday to do the Take Off, would be too hard over the next two days and then when I am traveling this weekend through Sunday. I just take one day at a time, I know I will drink lots of water tomorrow because I will be eating 4 oz of brisket.

Looks like you are waiting on the Take off. If you're traveling and attending BBQs here is what I do. Traveling: slice up apples and oranges to take in the car/plane instead of being tempted to eat gas station snacks. BBQs: take a dish to share that you can eat so you don't have to worry about all the food being "bad". Also, bring along snack bag of fruits and Kashi Go Lean cereal. GOOD LUCK and Happy 4th!! =0)
