Happy Friday!Yay, what wonderful words! I had a great swim this morning. My shoulder seems less and less sore each time. Rick, another swimmer, annoys me because he always wants to have conversations while I'm trying to swim laps. I have only 1 hour and I don't have time for talking. I took a little extra time since it's Friday and hardly anyone is at work this week. So, I tried to make myself have some social interaction this weekend by inviting 4 ladies to meet at a restaurant on Sat night. 2 had other plans, 1 was a yes, and 1 was a maybe, but probably going out of town. So I was okay with going with the 1 lady. Then last night she made a comment about how it's fun to have a big group. I saw this as a possible "out" and asked her if she would rather wait until we could find a better weekend where more people could go and she agreed. So now, we aren't meeting and in a way I feel relieved that I don't have to go anywhere and I can stay "inside my box". At least I tried but at this point I don't have any plans to try again. Next weekend Katie will be home and I might have to go to a wedding with her unless her friend can go. And the week after that is fall break for Michael so I have two weeks coming up where I won't be lonely for sure. Today is going to be a great day and it's going to be a great weekend full of running, swimming, walking, and oh yeah, eating. I'm thankful for a job with flexible hours, warm weather, a free oil change, and swimming.
