Making progress:) I think I've finally had a break through with myself, if that makes sense:) I've finally convinced myself to take control of this weight loss with no excuses. Weekends are not an excuse! I've also been able to take more control of how much I work out. I was using my family as an excuse not to work out. But now I squeeze it in right after work or before they wake up on weekends. Trying to find the right balance. It is working better with a more positive attitude. I know how bad I want this and I should not deny myself. No excuses!

Whooopeeeeee!!! My weight loss history bar changed colors with this weigh-in!!!!!! Oh it's the little things that are so exciting. This was my first color change. I've been wondering when that would happen.

Woo hoo! Congrats. Keep up the great work! It feels so good when it all starts clicking. And you're so right about excuses. If we all waited for conditions to be exactly perfect we'd never meet any of our goals. (I need to take that advice to heart myself today.)

You are your worst enemy, or your biggest help, and there comes a point where you have to chose which you want to be for yourself. There was a time that I used my family as an excuse to not exercise too. They need me home, I don't want to leave them, etc... I realized that I have to be selfish, and not just for myself, but for them too! I want to be healthy for them - I don't want to be the "fat mom" in the school yard. Your doing the right thing - keep it up!!!

Wow, awesome attitude! You do have to take time to better yourself without making excuses or feeling guilty. A fit, healthy, positive you will benefit your family too! Congrats on your color change! I agree - it's totally the little things that keep me motivated. ;)
