I've been raw for two weeks now and I feel amazing. I've lost 15 pounds, eat wonderful foods, and have energy that I never thought possible. I have not done any exercise but continue to see the weight fall off. I will begin a simple exercise routine next week once I am convinced my body has adapted to this new lifestyle.
The first 3 1/2 days I did a juice "fast" where the only thing I consumed was freshly made fruit and vegetable juices. The difference was amazing. My skin glowed. My bloated belly shrank. I dropped 7 pounds immediately. The next 2 1/2 days, I did a water fast where I consumed only water. I was surprisingly energized and upbeat. I slowly started incorporating fresh fruits and veggies back into my diet after that. Now I eat a ton of food each day and feel amazing.
I did have symptoms of detox and I am still having those symptoms, but they are starting to decrease and they certainly don't outweigh the benefits at all!
