So disgusted by how much I have let myself go. Seems nearly impossible to dig my way out of this. So tired all the time.. anxious all the time...so low I am wondering if this is even possible. Where do I start.. help!!!

Wow I have just finished reading all the wonderful comments and advice given by the amazing people on this site, we know that it gets hard and near impossible sometimes to loose weight but believe me we all know what it's like to feel that it's all a bit much and overwhelming. Read the lovely comments and think about what you would like to achieve, decided a course of action and take it one day at a time. There's plenty of people here to advise and guide you. All the best and good luck

first of all babe, what a lovely pic. secondly you can do this. take each day at a time and write every thing in fat secret dairy and stay within your calories... wish you all the best and good luck.

SmileMarsha, I was in the same boat. I had been in a weightloss challenge a couple of years ago and lost 26 pounds just to slowly put it all back on and then some. Now that I have found the Ketogenic way of eating the pounds are melting off. I am committed to losing the weight and this has become the easiest way for me. My gut cannot tolerate a high protein meat based diet. The high fat diet is the only thing that keeps me satisfied. I have always been an amazing cook and am finding weighs (pun intended) to cut the carbs from my recipes and still maintain the taste and texture. I never was a huge fruit eater until recent years only to find that so much fruit was not working for me. I think the fact that I can continue to eat and cook with my beloved Butter makes it a bit easier. I never would have believed that Broccoli smothered in butter was actually healthier for me than plain broccoli. All the lies that the food and diet industry have fed us for years has worked against us exponentially. Jump on board to the diet or "way of eating that makes you feel good" and rock on. You are beautiful. Just look at that face and smiling eyes. God created a masterpiece in you. I can see it. You can do this.

Don't be discouraged. You can do this. I fell off the wagon in 2011-12 when my Mom got sick and gained back 50 hard won pounds. Now I'm at a weight lower than any time since about 1985, and I am NOT going back this time. You can do this. And everyone here will support you in whatever path you choose.
